About the Owner

Gene Cookmeyer has spent the last 25+
years on gaining knowledge in musical endeavors including bands, church choirs, and music
recording and mastering techniques. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana where he first
entered the music scene, Gene has been a professional software engineer in the Raleigh, NC
area for the last 15 years. He is a graduate of Tulane University of New Orleans. Gene is experienced with ProTools and Cakewalk DAWs, and has
recorded, mixed and mastered just about every situation you can imagine from mono vocalist
tracks singing along with pre-recorded music to ten piece R&B bands with horn sections
