Top Sound Productions announces the winners of the 2006 Top Sounding Original Music Contest

 

Raleigh, NC, December 31^st, 2006 --- Top Sound Productions, a Raleigh, NC-based Audio Recording, Engineering and Production company, announced today the winners of the 2006 Top Sounding Original Music Contest.

 

The 1^st Place 2006 contest winner is a song written by Bo Lankenau and Lucy Sumner of Durham, NC entitled “Until You Get Caught”.  1st Prize for the contest is $150 cash plus 15 hours studio time of Top Sound Productions' services.

 

“This year's contest was even harder to judge than last year’s given the number of quality entries by local songwriters,” says Gene Cookmeyer, owner of Top Sound Productions.  “We would like to thank all the songwriters who submitted entrees into the contest and wish everyone the best in their songwriting careers.  We feel proud to sponsor a contest that brings some of the limelight to local songwriters and we would also like to encourage other local businesses to do the same.”
